Training - designed to meet your needs from an hour to a year and from one-to-one tutoring to one hundred and one participants. Recently completed courses have included; Principled Negotiation Skills - A practical negotiation skills course delivered over six sessions or three days, designed to improve the chances of getting the outcome you need without damaging your working relationship. Accredited at OCN level II, in the past month this course has been delivered to a Women's Group in West Belfast and a group of Community Development workers in East Belfast with all participants achieving the qualification. It is Joint Ventures policy to adapt all courses to meet the needs of students to ensure that they all meet their aims - if this includes a qualification then the course will be both structured and flexible enough to ensure that an appropriate level of qualification is obtained. Diversity, Equality and Conflict Management. - Delivered over six full days this course helps participants to grasp the principles and practice of conflict management and its application in dealing with issues of Equality and Diversity. Participants are then supported in applying what they have learned through the completion of a diversity challenge. It comes with two qualifications one through the NCFE and the other through the NIOCN. In both of the recent runs of the course in North Belfast, all those who chose to complete the course achieved both qualification as promised in our training policy as outlined above.
